At Care 24-7, offering regular professional development opportunities and encouraging open, supportive communication is integral to our team’s ability to provide excellent emergency care, and more.
The Calvary Adelaide Hospital ED doctors recently gathered away from the hospital for a day to explore key care topics and look at how, as a team, we can continually improve the ED experience for patients and their families.
Thanks to days like this and the dedication of our emergency specialists, our team is always equipped to deliver fast, expert care to you and your family at your time of greatest need.
After an early morning team yoga session organised by our Managing Director Sharad Pandit, sessions included ‘Approach to headache in the ED’, ‘Management of trauma in the elderly’ and ‘Red flags in the evaluation of the elderly’, with each of our specialist ED doctors taking a turn at presenting.
Other speakers included GM of Calvary Adelaide Hospital, Tanya Brooks (pictured above, left); Care 24-7 CEO Paul Langley; Practice Manager Kay Wilkey and Innovation and Marketing Director, Sarah Sandley.
