Parking information

Free parking Free parking is available adjacent to the Emergency Centre. Simply follow the red lines on the road near the Buderim Private Hospital’s main entrance to direct you to these dedicated parking spaces.
Secure parking There is also a two-level main car park just through the main entrance. Additional spaces are available further along the entrance road.
Disability parking Please use any of the designated Emergency Centre parking spots, however, there are also additional disabled parking spaces available at the point closest to the main hospital building.
Drop off & pick up There is a Patient Drop-Off/Pick-Up Zone just outside the Emergency Centre reception area for your convenience.
Additional parking Additional ​free parking is available at the nearby Maroochydore Cricket Ground car park, which is located approximately 600m from the hospital, off Syd Lingard Drive. Visitors can park here and catch ​our free courtesy bus to the hospital and back to the car park. This service operates every 5-10 minutes, Monday to Friday from 5.45am – 5.45pm.

If you are an Australian resident and hold a Medicare card, a portion of the cost of your visit will be covered. However, an out-of-pocket fee will also apply, as detailed below.

Frequently asked questions

Am I able to travel to the hospital via public transport?

Yes, Buderim Private Hospital is accessible by public transport. Sunbus Route 602 operates with a stop at the hospital’s main entrance, providing hourly service between Maroochydore and Kawana. You can find more information, including timetables, on the Sunbus website.

No – referrals are not required to attend the Buderim 24 hour Emergency Centre.

If you have health insurance, and an admission to the Buderim Private Hospital is needed, we can provide various options for inpatient care and can refer you to the most appropriate specialists. If you do not have insurance, our doctors will liaise with an admitting medical specialist, and you will then be transferred to a public hospital.

Patients who present within 7 days at Buderim Private Emergency Centre, due to complications associated with their surgery, will be treated at no charge.
